Who we are
Pickup Shot Studios is a sole proprietorship of Sam Goddard in Los Angeles, California. We make short video clips from long-form episodes, sermons and talks. You can reach us through our contact page.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as links to your episodes. Messages sent through our contact form are passed by Cloudflare straight to our email inbox; we don't keep a separate copy anywhere else.
- When you work with us: the recordings or links you send, the details we need to deliver your clips, and billing records. Payments go through PayPal, so we never see your full card or bank details.
- When you visit this site: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes basic request data such as your IP address to serve pages and protect against abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, the site that referred you, your country and device type. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites and doesn't build a profile of you.
We don't use advertising trackers. The site, including the contact form, sets no cookies, and its fonts are served from our own site, not a third party.
How we use it
We use what we collect to reply to you, make and deliver your clips, send invoices, and keep the records the law requires for a business. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Your content
Episodes and recordings you send us are used only to make your clips. We don't post them or show them in our portfolio without your permission.
Sometimes we make a few sample clips from an episode a show has already published and send them to that show. Those samples live on a private page we send only to the show. If you'd like one taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and project files for as long as we need them for the work and for our business records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we're required to keep it, such as invoices for tax purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send us a message and we'll answer within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Because we don't track visitors across sites, we handle every visitor the same way whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
Children
This site and our service are for businesses and creators. They aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
