These terms cover work you buy from Pickup Shot Studios, a sole proprietorship of Sam Goddard in Los Angeles, California. If we've agreed something different with you in writing, such as in a quote or an email, that agreement wins where the two differ.
What you get
- Vertical clips with burned-in captions, cut from the episode, sermon or talk you send us, plus a suggested title and post caption for each clip.
- Delivery within 3 business days of receiving the episode or link, unless we agree on a different schedule.
- One round of changes on every batch.
Not included unless we agree otherwise: posting to your accounts, thumbnails, episodes longer than 2 hours, and more than one round of changes. We're happy to quote any of these separately.
Prices and payment
- A one-time batch is paid in full before we start.
- Monthly plans are paid upfront at the start of each month and renew month to month. There's no long-term contract.
- Prices are the ones we quote you. Invoices are sent through PayPal.
Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel a monthly plan anytime by emailing us. Canceling stops the next month's charge. The current month continues through its paid deliveries.
- Clips that have been delivered aren't refundable.
- If we miss a delivery you've paid for, you choose: a refund for that batch, or a credit toward your next one.
Your content and the clips
- You confirm that you own the recordings you send us or have permission to have them edited.
- You give us permission to use those recordings only to make your clips.
- Once you've paid, the clips are yours to post and use however you like. We don't post them or show them in our portfolio without your permission.
Liability
We do careful work, but we can't promise views, followers or any particular result from posting. If something goes wrong on our side, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California. Any dispute will be handled in Los Angeles County.
Changes and questions
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Changes don't affect work you've already paid for. Questions go through our contact page. How we handle personal information is in our privacy policy.
